Fall in the Midwest!

Fall has sprung!  Ok.. it's not the normal way to put it, but it sure has happened!  As I've driven around the area the past few days, I've seen some big changes kpopping up, seems like just overnight.  Suddenly the trees are turning red and gold, the corn is being harvested, and the air is full of the smells of fall.. it brings back so many memories of my childhood growing up in rural Ohio.  We always had corn shocks, and pumpkins, gourds, etc around in the fall. My family was heavily involved in a local festival called the Circleville Pumpkin Show for about 30 years.. so from the time I was in my early teens, our fall activities revolved around getting in supplies, and getting ready for 'The Show'.

Already I'm seeing the fall decorations out... pumpkins displayed, corn shocks, straw bales on porches, and yes, even the flannel shirts have been dug out of storage LOL.  I must confess, I had mine on the other morning :-)

Unlike some others, I haven't been real busy lately, partly due to my breakdown a couple weeks ago, then some family issues including a funeral that had to be dealt with.  Seems like I'm just having trouble getting back 'in the flow'.  Had 3 short runs and a dry run this week, but nothing big.  Still the king of dry runs... a title I'd gladly give up... gets a bit frustrating when people keep screwing up, and entering wrong dimensions, or ordering a van because they 'thought it would fit'.
