           ExpeditersOnline.com puts on many informational workshops throughout the year. Not just for potential drivers, but current ones also. They are held in various parts of the country, at different times of the year. The first of three scheduled workshops is February 22, 2012 in Knoxville, TN. It has so much to offer to people as well. As quotes from the website "We feature real industry pros with  hands on experience that in plain language,  present to you the information you need to be a success in this business"  

     You will find some of the industries leading specialists in various fields. Shelly Benisch, from C.I.S. will be there speaking on fundamentals of insurance. Steve Kochensparger, Expediter Equipment Finance, LLC, speaking on business and financial essentials. Debbie Dent, of Customs Certified Specialist Border Connect Inc. on Principals of Border Crossing. Gary Conleay, of General Manager of Selectrucks of Atlanta & Used Truck Manager, Peach State Freightliner, speaking on Truck Specification Assessment. Heath Wood, Sales Manager, Middle Georgia Freightliner - Isuzu, speaking on Truck Specification Assessment. Also Nick and I, owner operators at Load1, will be speaking on Expediting 101. 
          The website, http://www.expeditersonline.com/sub/workshops/ ,  also lists a lot of topics that will be covered, and I have personally been working on the presentation that we will be doing. I am excited to have the opportunity to share our knowledge of the industry with others, and gain some from them as well.

    Keep in mind if you can’t make it to the workshop in Knoxville there will be other opportunities to attend similar sessions as well. There is one in Monroe, MI, May 17th, the Expedite Expo in July, and the final workshop in Charlotte, NC, October 18th. We hope to see you there!
