An old trip

We used to watch Dirty Jobs quite often, when we had access to cable tv. One day they featured a snake farm that was in New Braunfels, TX. We were traveling through there one day, with plenty of time, so we decided to stop.

The admission was relatively cheap, I think it was about $10 each. You enter in there, and it has a very distinct smell, of humidity, and snake stink. lol, the only way I know to describe it. There were probably about 100 cages full of snakes, lizards, spiders, alligators, inside.

I am absolutely petrified of snakes. I was looking down at my feet the ENTIRE time that we were there, making sure that there were not any strays. I took a TON of pictures. When we were done inside, we went outside where they had an entire petting zoo. That was my favorite part.

As we were leaving Nick convinced me to pet one of the snakes. It is definitely not a flattering picture by any means, but it portrays my "love" for them.

If you ever have free time, and are looking for something to do, and fascinated by snakes, its a pretty cool place to go.
