A Rainy Night in Georgia!

Wow, what a difference a week makes!  A week ago, I was kicked back, my feet buried in the sand, sea gulls soaring over my head, and waves crashing inches from me!  The sun was shining, the air was warm...... sigh...

Last night I drove overnight from Ohio to Atlanta.  Let me tell ya, the rain came down.  In just 4 hrs, they had 2 inches, and were predicting another 2.  I'm sure glad I left early, because it took me over an hour to go what should have taken 15 minutes near Atlanta.  About 6 am, I hit the beginnings of rush hr traffic.

That's right, 6 lanes of traffic, sitting still... wipers on high, type of rain!  And cold!

Well, anyway, long story short, I left 2 hrs early from what I thought I needed, and arrived only 10 minutes early for my delivery.  There's a lesson there somewhere!  Made it back out thru the traffic, and headed up to Dalton, GA for layover.
