A past trip revisitied
A few years ago we delivered a load in New York. Nick and his family had gone to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side when he was a child, but I had never been there. We decided that we were going to take a trip to the falls state side. We found a place in which we could park the van all day for $10 that was only a block from the park enterance. I was so excited. I love visiting new landmarks.
It was fall, so it was quite chilly out. We walked all around the park, and then we decided that we were going to go on the Maid of the Mist. They gave us little garbage bag type ponchos to wear, but to be honest, it didn't keep you very dry. I had gotten a waterproof disposable camera to take pictures, but unfortunately I never ended getting them developed, I forgot. The trip up to the falls was pretty neat. Seeing the power of the water was something that is hard to describe.

After the boat ride we walked around more to dry off and headed to the top of the falls to take some pictures as the sun set. It was absolutely beautiful. Once the sun went down the falls were lit up and then they let off fireworks. It was one of the things that you have to see in person.

It was a great trip and I can't wait to go again when it is warmer so we can do a lot more the activities that are offered.
