A Detroit Classic

This years Autorama was the show to celebrate 60 years.. Nick has told me many stories of going when he was a child. He also pointed out the model car competition, in which he participated in while he was young with his brother. It has always been something that was memorable for him, a weekend of looking at beautiful works of art.  For the last three years we have gone with his younger brother and his fiance. It is something that we look forward to every year.

I am always surprised at how many cars I can use as mirrors and check my reflection. It is sometimes hard to believe how much money people spend on these cars and their paint jobs. Today we did decide what color we defiantely would like to paint our recently aquired 1962 Cadillac. Who knows, maybe one day we can enter it into a car show.

It is great to see so many people come together for a common interest, and that this wonderful event has been around for so many years. Hopefully it is something that we will one day be able to take our children to.
