Fuel for Thought

$5500 Later

It was a painful $5500 dollars that involved a new EGR valve (second in 600,000 miles), oil cooler, exhaust manifolds and a bazillion smaller parts. The main thing is that there is no longer black puddles that follow the van. Another plus is I got an engine pressure wash out of the deal, so the engine compartment almost looks new. The one week down was worth missing another week of subzero temperatures and messy weather on the road.

Then again. In service or out of service, weather has to be dealt with.
