Yet another bunk option for vans

Dunno what it adds weight-wise, but the pop-top frees up cargo space below while offering a very comfortable, and ventilated, sleep space. Made by Sportsmobile. Anyone see one of these on a cv? Could be a bit brisk this time of year...

It looks like a good idea for the summer, but I wouldn't want to try to sleep in there during winter time when its snowing and the winds a howling.

hmmm ok, crawl or lay on top of freight when you have 2 48 in tall skids in the back.....yea that works....oh oh oh wait...a hammock over the top of the freight up inside that thing....yea thats it....

Sportsmobile in Austin did my van for me. They do good work. I'm not sure how well you could insulate that for summer or winter use. You probably need to talk to someone at one of their locations for more info.
