I guess this is a stupid question but I have to know.
everytime I fuel up the pumps say not to use in 07 trucks because of low sulfur or something like that, if thats the case then where do you fuel up then?

You don't.

It just sits in the driveway until the distributors change over to ultra low sulfur fuel.

Didn't the friendly salesperson tell you that when you bought that 2007?

They are out there as we seen several at the MATTS show back in March. They had the DPF filter and the whole nine yards. Not sure what they are doing.......likely taking their chances. We opted for 06's to avoid the bs of the 07's/

Yeah, I know that the dealers are taking order, but I wasn't sure that they had released any to the market yet. Seems like there would be some kind of liability issue. But I guess the auto companies are the kings of loopholes.

I read in the last Land Line that they were rationing the new fuel out west. Denver had to ship some of their fuel further east cause of a shortage.

That's just like the feds. Make us conform, then be completely ill-prepared for their own timeline.

The actual '07 engines are not out yet. Due out in early Feb or March. I had asked Brandi at Freightliner in Knoxville while looking at purchasing a new truck.

GMC, Ford, Isuzu, Hino etc. all have 2007 trucks available now, but they are still using the 06 engines.

I would still consider buying one of these.

Freightliner has fields full of 2006 trucks so that is why they are waiting to bring the 2007's out. Same for Mack, Volvo and the other biggies. They all geared up for a big run on 2006 models, but it appears that sales have lagged due to oil prices jitters and weak economic growth over the past quarter.
