Jack and Gracie Berry have a Espar heater and jack did just exactly what you are talking about doing with the floorof their ford van..their bed is also about 8-10 insxhs off the floor...ask Gracie how cold the floor gets...she still is not happy with hiw the ducts for the espr were routed....

Most will tell you to "hang" your sshoes up off the floor in the winter in a CV...cold shoes are not fun at all...

I keep my shoes and my clothes at the top...nothing like warm shoes on a cold morning...

Had the same problem with my truck call motor carrier talk to the officer was told that the legal weight was base on max tire loading take all the max load add then together this will give you the weight you can carry he said i would be surprise by the number i have a sprinter with the max on the tiresof 3042 per tire. i would be able to carry 12,158. call back he said that was correct but going over 10,000 meant i whould have to run a log book.
