Truck got new King pins

Well got back in Service Today, after been down wed and thur for King pins and my trailer to be delivered.

Needless to say when I went out I did with a less than 75 states.

Now that Im back I been offered loads that are 1.20 1.40 a mile. Needless to say cant run the toll roads up in NJ on that.

I was offered a good load and said yes on the New System but was informed another truck got it.

So any way here is the deal Sitting here No loads for this week of which ends on Wed Morning or Tue Evening.

This is crapola and they know it.

When I was pulling the dry box I got better offers than Im getting now with a reefer trl.

Some one said earlier that could have been a firm ware that was wrong with the Reefer,

Well after a new Compressor and Radiator hmm
let me just say this.

Bruno U are right Tom is good but he didnt listen to what I said to him.

They replaced the compresor and a Radiatior and ran all kinds of test.

well didnt need a compressor should I be polite I will
its a soft wear issue.
I will leave it at that.
by the way some one else said monie well maybe but when I was told all I had to do to run the unite I said on the phone to the ole chap I told you that June 18th Yupper sure did.

still no load.

Top of the board and most dwel and a less than 75 reefer WG with a 53.

So what was the problem exactly? Software? Sorry but your post seems to be all over the place and after the problems you had I'd be in the same place.

Hello it ended up just what I said above re read slowly

No those loads were dry box loads. Now that I see your so interested in all things I here Panther isnt much better either.

Ya know what was once a lucerative business is now nothing more than a cut rate cut throat business.
the only ones that are making out is the companies that dont own nothing and just being brokers. The people out here on the deck plates doing the work are loosing there buts.
More and More companies keep slashing the rates and taking more and more for them selves and getting the less fortunate to do their biddings. Thus doing it by starving them till finaly they say yes they do it for that just to get a meal and a shower.

Needless to say Im no fool and only a fool will run the fuel outa his her truck taking loads like that and puttin the truck in the red.

Now about freight it dont matter weather its Panther or who ever they are all slicing the rates to get the business.
Well as stated before These companies dont own Trucks they are just glorifed brokers. When the OOPS finaly wise up anlong with the drivers and say enough is enough You want to cut the rates well then U cut the rates but you raise our percentages and u take less for Yours. If and when that happens I am willing to bet these company will stop the Rate cutting.

They like many only think about one thing them selves and not about the ones on the deck plate doing the work. By the way I dont consider Dispatchers the work force. they are the White collar not the blue collar in my book.

The Blue collar workers are us the ones moving the freight while the white collar all go home at the end of there shifts.

Id love for the big wigs to come and ride with me and live how I live like a hermit waiting for the next load to take a shower and eat somthing.

Then again when companies swing deals with TAs ect and the OOP tell ya you can only fuel at TA because of the great deal they are getting. I say Bull crunch. Hey Fuel at the TA to keep the Mans mouth I do it. So Enough of this.

Now you talk about the company cutting rates and not caring about the truck; and in the same breath you basically say you don't care about the owner by ignoring him asking you to fuel at TA. There's a lot of not caring goin on around here.

But yet, there is no other than your carrier, right? For someone who is so stuck on them, you sure do complain a lot about them.

Probably not if you are talking cargo van loads. I can't remember ever seeing a straight or a TT coming off the east coast for 1.20 or 1.40 total rate as you described.
If you have a reefer trailer, you would be better served to use that. If not, use their new broker plan that has been written about. From what I have read, if you can use that, a cheap LTL would pay better than those rates.
Probably would be better than gettin on here and complaining about them.

Hawk it dont matter what carrier, and as far as not caring I fuel at the TA just for HIM. So he keeps his big mouth shut.
Now All that does it put myself out for him.

As far as cut rates yes I get offers for a T&T for elcheapo Loads and at 1.27 and 1.43 all miles and I gota say no.

There are good loads as well. But with all the Price slashing going on its harder now to support your family.

As a Driver since I dont own it maybe I should just take everything and dont care If I run the truck outa money.
Well in yester year I did just that but always had money as afuel was cheap. Now I cant do that. So I had to change my stratagy and be selective to run the truck.

I like to Be moven moven moven just like everone heck if the fuel would go back to what it was I would most likey go back to taking darn near any load offered just to stay moven.

But I dont see that happing. Now as far as FedEX goes
I like the company.
But If I Say no to a run its becasue I need to make money not waste it.

But again why should I care i dont own the Truck well, If I run the truck outa money Can I honestly ask the man for more money for fuel.
Truthfully thats bad business.
Now if the dum thing breaks down and He dont have the funds then its not my problem but his. This you all should agree on.

The new system offers these out to ya if your close to them
it dont matter weather its a c or D unite if you close and no one else wants it will offer it to ya.

I don't agree with it. If your truck breaks down, and the owner doesn't have the money, you're out of a job, right? It IS your problem if he can't pay you. Depends on why the owner doesn't have the money in the first place. If he likes his nose candy, it is your problem. If he loves to play the ponies to excess, it is your problem. If his wife wants a new kitchen, paid for out of the truck's repair fund, it IS your problem.

Now I hope YOU can see.

Well Ten I went through that crap with a Trailer didnt I
If the Truck breaks down and he dont got no monie and it gets towed to a shop I guess he is up the creek without a paddle and there is always more fish in the sea for me.
