To put a positive spin on the stupidest post I hav

Ladies let me set the record straight by saying Cyn is the best and I would be remiss if I were not to give her credit for being the most imperfect, perfect soul I have ever known..
My family loves her and I love her family this I hold dear in my heart..
Before I met her we both had endured some very difficult trials in our life involving 20 years of marriage in both scenarios with disappointing results but that isn't really important...
What is important is the personal evolution (the things that shape our life and who we are) and where we are today..
I as a person need my space however small and insignificant it belongs to me, a happy place where I can reflect, embrace and discover and I alone own.
I think we all as humans need our own space and in giving Cyn full credit maybe I have had that space and did not realize I was having it..
I hardly believe a shower to myself qualifies but I guess you get the gist.
No matter how cool or great your guy is and no matter how strongly you feel the need to know if your so's bowel movement was good he or she needs somethings private, no matter how close you feel.
I am confident others feel the need for time alone and am curious as to you achieve it ergo the positive spin.
What is your outlet? How do you breath, energize your well being??
Hell for that matter am I abnormal???
Do you have a outlet or time that belongs to you?
If so please share (male or female doesn't matter) just be honest about what is important to you and how you achieve it.
I apologize for venting here this W/E why I feel we are family in all I have no right to be tarded in public.
Thanks to all of you that called and e-mailed Cyn at my fault she feels more connected to all of you than I...
We have been at this for 3 years and it has been great but I feel the need for a personal balance, again my plea for advice and maybe something positive can be derived from all this stupidity.

Mike,

Much better stated this time! I'm sorry for removing the other threads but I was afraid they would be embarassing to you or Cyn once you calmed down.

Stated the way you have now, I'm sure all can relate!

Good Luck!

My S/O loves to read...take her to book stores and she's in heaven especially those second hand ones...And Wallys World she loves to just look around and feel like a woman....I drop her off and I'll go to Auto-zone or pepboys...and feel like a man.
I am sorry to all the romantics out there..BUT husband and wife were NOT meant to be together 7/24/365. My wife JuJu will attest to this...you need your own space...whatever that is....

P.S. No guns allowed in truck!

This rule works well because that fact I am here typing this... proves it!!!*L*

RE: To put a positive spin on the stupidest post I

My private time was the hardest adjustment I had to make in the truck. I have always been an early riser and I need a cup of coffee and space to start my day. When we are on team runs I love my 2:00 a.m. shift. When we are not on a team run I sit in the front of the truck with a cup of coffee with the curtains closed and Bob sleeps in. Bob has found that working on the truck by polishing or shining gives him alone time.

When tempers flair and we are both mad that is more of a problem in the truck when we cannot get away from each other. We have found count to 10 and up, get the job done and usually by the time we can stop we are calmed down.

Like Rich said when we get home we both have our own list of things to do and we see each other in passing. Does not take long and we are ready to get back in the truck and get going again.

Everybody needs their space. We get a little cramped here and if I
can just go to Walmart, walk around shopping for awhile, read a book
in peace .. it helps..

My husband has very little needs, he just watches tv and plays
poker online.

When things really get hard and we need a break, its time to go
home. when we get home, I go do my thing, he does his.. everyone is
happy..

Oh boy....and I thought you got lonesome with out me! lol

Here's the key boys and girls. I take the summer off to garden and deal with the home acres. That gives him a chance to miss me and I get a break from driving. But I sure work off my sweet patootie catching up!

You are right, everyone needs their "alone" time.

Out on the road, separate showers are a must! We tried the shower thing together and it did not work. Sorry guys, but there is nothing sexy about watching you sit on the "thrown" as we gals are getting ready to get in the shower!

While we are waiting for a load, Jim will usually sit in the trucker's lounge and watch TV and I will sit in the truck, playing on the laptop, cleaning or watching TV.

If sitting for the weekend, get a room, go to the mall - anything to get out of the truck. Jim and I like going to the mall's to window shop - it is also great exercise.

When we get into an argument and I am not driving, I usually go in the bunk and lay down for awhile, plus I won't speak to Jim for a few hours - which I am sure he loves - by then it usually blows over. If I am driving, I tell Jim to get in the bunk!

If we get to the point, when we are at each other's throats - it is definitely time to go home!!

When we are home, Jim and I do our own thing. He will jump on the bike and go for a ride, I will stay home and do things in the house or yard. I am one of those rare women that actually like to cut grass, weedwack and pull weeds!

Don't get me wrong, we do spend some time together when we are home. There are times I will go on the bike with Jim, just to enjoy the day but most of the time, I tell him to go without me.

Night time is my favorite for my alone time. Since I drive nights, I do not go to bed early, even when we are home. After every one goes to bed (Jim, my brother and the dogs), that is when I will sit and watch TV and play on the laptop a little.

Isn't love grand??

Just for Dreamer!

He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.

I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around and smacked the sh!t out of him...
Like his mother used to do.

Ode to OntarioVanMan
I posted this a while back sweety...

Well that's my hubby
my cranky ol' fart.
His sweet canuck ways
sure stole this ol' heart!

His charm and quick wit
are really a dazzle
although keeping up
can wear me into a frazzle.

So I think I'll keep
this hunny of mine
especially when his words
are sweeter than wine!

Luvs ya honey!

One from history books:

Here's to Dieseldiva
NOT a damsel in distress
You can bet your bottom dollar
She won't give this a rest

Until she's got it perfect
Much to all our glee
I know I'll sure be looking
For this forum tickles me!

TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING, BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP.
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS, I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.
THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE,
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.

TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION,
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.
SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR,
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.

GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.
I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND,
'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND.

I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, FLOATING INTO THE SKY,
WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE.
BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES....
HAPPY EATING TO ALL PASS THE CRANBERRIES, PLEASE.

MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY, MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP.
MAY YOUR YAMS BE YUMMY. MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS.

It is amazing of what a person can think of right before falling asleep and I am not even sure why I thought of it but I realized I misspelled throne and it was too late to correct it. This is actually the 1st time I have had a chance to get on here in a few days. Busy, busy, busy.....

Mike, WOW,

Not a pole long enough for me not to comment, as any comment from me, well not a pole long enough to protect me from Cynthia. Got my point.

It seems that since I've been home
a black cat has adopted me
He's such a sweet cuddler
Till he bites me with such glee.

I've never seen a puddy tat
with reversed personalites
He sucks up and cuddles up
then turns and bites my knee!

Now there is a clincher
I want to take him with me
But the other half says NO!
He will pee on me!

So if anyone wants a puddy tat
Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde
I'd love for him to have a home
where he could go inside.

Bummer is his name,
he loves to hunt at night
the couch is all his by day
and gophers fear their plight!

He brought me one the other day
So pleased he was with this
I almost puked my guts out
when he ate it up with bliss!

Thanks guys...I've kind of missed this!
