This is long but a good read anyhow ,maybe it was posted before but anyhow...

The Old Jarhead: I'm Tired

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: 'In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare...' Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the 'complacency and apathy' phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the 'governmental dependency' phase.

The left loves it when their plans work out as they hoped they would!!!

OK? and?

This is all old news ...

Many times it is good to sit back and rehash major points from time to time. Not unlike R.Bach's advice in Illusions. "who are you? where are you from? where are you going? ask yourself these from time to time and see how the answers change."

Well lets look at it this way Madoff is an evil horrible man who will rot in jail and hell for doing the exact same thing the white house is doing to applauds and cheers.

Don't forget the congress, they are just as guilty as King Putz the 1st is!! But let's be fair. Our government has been "sticking" it to us for decades. I would venture to guess that the vast majority that have served in congress or as president for the last 50 years or so belong in jail with Madoff. In reality, their crimes are worse.

There was a news team working in and around Wayne county shortly after the election, interviewing people who wear going to get some Obama money, yet when asked where the money really came from wear either oblivious or just did not care where it came from and refused to accept it had a limited pool to draw from.

That is the result of poor education (on purpose) and never having been "weaned" off of the public tit. When man is not required to fend for himself or when he is stopped from doing so his soul dies and his spirit fades. He becomes useless and depressed. He may turn to drugs or drink. He may lash out if there is any spirit left and turn to crime. Sound familiar?

Poverty is not the main cause or even a big factor in crime rates. Hopelessness, despair and feeling useless is. Welfare and government care leads to those things. Government is the cause of the problems, not the solution.
