The Animal Pen

Well, today I found out why the animal pen is off to the far side of the rest area on I80 in ohio!!!I spent the night there and figuried I would get a run out of that area.I got out of the van and headed up to the food court and as I was walking I turned around to take a look at the van (A habit ,making sure lights are off Etc.)There was a elder lady and her black lab standing in front of my van.I was starting to wonder if there was a issue or something else, when i noticed that the dogs leg was up and it was whizzing all over the front of my van!!!I had to bite my tounge and I just said to her calmly and politely,That I didnt feel that it was apporpriate for her to let the dog do and just walked away.I wondered how she would feel if a burly trucker came over to her suv and poured his pee-jug on her windsheild.LOL I just dont know what was on her mind that she felt it was ok to let her dog do what ever it wants,it was leashed, maybee she thought it was part of the animal pen?The bugger got it all the way up to the headlight,I know it will wash off and the dog doesnt know any better, but some people I just dont know!!!!Speaking of pee jugs
why does everyone have to dump them in the parking lot so we all have to walk thru it and smell it.I have actually ran into some drivers who keep a gallon jug with them, sometimes half full and drive around like that.I mean you mind as well draw a face on it and name it!!!LOL
Heck, it could keep you company in your sleeper!!!I prefer the cap it and dispose of it in a trash can method myself.LOL The run dry ran to top it off and I guess im going to sit at home and wait there.
Well, thats enough of me crying this month. lol

Urine is sterile, until it leaves the human body, at which time it becomes a biohazard - if you don't believe me, ask Mrs Hawk! :p

That's not entirely correct.

Yes, freshly produce urine in the kidneys is sterile, IF there is no infectious bacteria present; i.e. kidney infections.

Urine near the anterior end of the urethra will have contaminants.

That is why we have a "Clean Catch" procedure of collecting specimens.

Here is the protocol: To perform this test, first urinate a small amount into the toilet bowl to clear the urethra of any contaminants. Then, collect a sample of urine in a clean or sterile container. About 1 - 2 ounces of urine is needed for a test. Remove the container from the urine stream without stopping the flow. You may finish urinating into the toilet bowl. Take the sample to the lab.

Now, to Bamamule's input (thank you for correctness)

My favorite line from the movie Enemy of the State, "Well, who's going to monitor the monitors?"
