Well you got three types of people living there, the ones who think Murtha and those types are great, you got the people who don't know how to change anything and loath Murtha and those types and then you have the Amish. If I lived there, I would try hard to be the third type.
There is a lot of shoplifters in that bunch. They used to come into the Cablela's in Dundee when I worked that. Mostly from Ohio, which makes sense. We had to watch them like hawks. Those long coats and dresses make it very easy to shoplift.
We used to joke at the state park I worked at in PA that the state had outlawed fun and that the smiling ban would go into effect in 2010.

Not ALL the checks and balances, WE the People still hold, at least for now, the biggest Check to thier power. It is protected by our Constitution, in the Bill of Rights, under the 2nd Amendment. We may soon be forced to stand up and counter the threat they pose to freedom. Layoutshooter

Specter was never with the GOP on important issues. He was originally a Democrat, then a Republican, and now a Democrat again. It's crass politics. Specter was trailing badly in polling for the GOP primary in his bid to win a sixth term to the Senate. He's not even healthy enough to serve effectively. What's with these old men in diapers who cling to power until their last breath? Even more, why would the Dems want him?
