Tuesday, the Senate Commerce Committee sent Senate Bill 60 – making daylight saving time permanent – to the floor for debate.

In an Associated Press story, the bill’s sponsor – Sen. Betty Olson (R-District 28), says she and others are “darn sick” of switching clocks and having to adjust to the time change twice a year.

Her sentiments are shared by most people in a KOTA Territory Quick Poll (click here to take that poll).

Senator Betty Olsen just happens to be JuJu's sister.......:) and my sponsor into this great country!

so you can blame the GOP for that as well.....LOL

I think it should be an East Side versus West Side thing. The West Side doesn't change the clocks, the East Side does, and all Hell breaks loose.

Sick of switching clocks twice a year? That's quite the burden. They will expend more time and energy working on this legislation than if they all lived to be 150 years old and setting clocks twice a year.
