well check this site a few times a day, it is updated i think 4-6 times a day, after seeing this, maybe waiting isn't that bad and some might think twice about turning down those "marginable" loads....

And keep in mind, the #'s you see are DAILY, not weekly or monthly, they are happening daily...

of the 5-6 drivers I talk with almost daily 3-4 loads a week are the norm...I am talking experienced expediters here...all vans...and know when to move or not and the areas of higher chance of a load...the killer is the miles and rate of pay of them loads....at the low end came yours truly...mostly NLM low paying loads...high end was nearly all sprinter type loads....The range was from 850 to 1700 $ per week gross....so off the top of the head one should average about 900-1000$ a week....remember less miles, less costs to run...that is still 45,000 -48,000$ a years in this economy...

We are not setting the world on fire but we are about or a little above our norm for this time of year. Lot's of work for out type of truck right now. Rates about the same as last year, maybe a touch higher considering the FSC much lower. Layoutshooter

Other financial considerations came up...I STILL don't have my rifle yet....but then again I wasn't about to stand out in -40 degree weather to learn how to use it....
