I am getting tired of hearing from the cabinet members and department heads in 'interviews' fomr the sub-standard press. It looks like they are using the super star media to convince us of things and it worries me that there are too many people speaking for our country. Gate went on TV, "Today" show and talked about closing Gitmo.
He made two comments that cause me to worry -
'Obama would do nothing to endanger the public and said there has never been an escape from a "super-max" prison in this country'.
And
"I think that one of the points ... was that he had no interest whatsoever in releasing publicly detainees who might come back to harm Americans."
Which tells me that Gates is out of touch with the real problems surrounding the issue, it is not if they escape or released but why are they being brought here and afforded the same rights as us AND because our intel is now being more tied down, who can predict the actions of the sleeper cells already here to get these people out of prison. We may see a terrorist strike again just because they are here.
