Sent this to my Congressman

I sent this to my Congressman, John (dingellberry) Dingell of the the 15th District in Michigan today. I did put my name, address and Phone # on it. I don't hide what I say. I hope you all send similar posts to your's. Good luck, we are going to need it. Hide your wallet. Layoutshooter

I assume that now that the "so-called" rescue bill has passed that the House and Senate will begin criminal investigations into what happened. These investigations should be conducted by forensic accountants and be TOTALLY independent of politics and either party. ALL members of BOTH houses should be included in this investigation. The governments role in forcing banks to increase home ownership to people who could not afford homes is most likely the main cause of this problem we are now facing. Outside groups like "Acorn" should be held acountable for thier part as well.

I am really just "fed up" with what is going on in Washington these days. I think that it would be in the best interest of the country if all seated members of both the House and Senate would resign thier seats. You should all be ashamed of your selfs. You have been taking this country down a path of socialism and government dependence that is destroying our economy. Party politics as we have it today in this country is just discusting. No one in Washington has earned the pay they receive. You have insured that you are NOT accountable to your employers, The People.

Don't even THINK of asking me to pay even one nickle more in taxes, I will NOT!!! You and everyone else in government will just waste it. In fact, I feel I am owed a total refund of ALL tax dollars that I have ever paid to the Federal Government. At the very least you should ALL give back every penny you have been paid since you have been in office. No one in government today has earned it.

I think that is a good email. Honestly, it won't do any good and I think you know it as well as I do. I would like to copy and paste it to my Representatives and Senators. I couldn't have said what you did any better than you said it. The only thing is when I send in my emails all I get back is lip service.

It's a good e-mail, but in all honesty it's probably two paragraphs too long. If you want it read, it needs to be short and sweet. Each paragraph sent in a separate e-mail would likely be read.

Feel free to use any part or all of it. I know it won't do a bit of good but being able to send them is the main reason I vote. Can't complain if you don't participate. I think it is time for a tax revolt. Those of us in small business have been taking it in the shorts for long enough. We should ALL let our reps and senators know that. NO MORE TAX CHECKS!!! When you jamokes in Washington get it right then we will start paying taxes again!!! WE need to take control from Washington. VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! layoutshooter

Good luck getting everybody together on that. You have a hard enough time just getting O/Os to work together much less all small business. Everyone needs to be involved, that is true. Most prefer to sit back and complain to friends and family. That gets nothing done.

I hope you don't think I'm trying to down what you are trying to do. Trust me I'm not trying to do that at all. I send my Senators and Representatives emails all the time. All I get back is lip service. That doesn't mean I stop. I just know when I am typing one of them an email that I am going to get lip service in return.

The one time I haven't gotten lip service was about the Mexican Truck Pilot Program. I spoke with the people on the phone in Washington and told them how I felt, and how I wanted to see my Rep. vote. They told me they understood my feelings, they pass the message to Mr. Ross, and thanked me for calling. Guess what? He voted the way I aked him to. Of course I think there were many others from my district calling with the same request because I sent an email out to a lot of friends and family, and called other and they said they would call. I think we need to vote against all incumbents just to send a message. The reason most of these people keep getting re-elected is because of name recongization ( I believe that's the correct spelling). People recognize the name and vote. Or they look for the (R) or the (D) beside the name and vote according to that. Either way it's messed up.
