Work on the boat is progressing slowly.

The rain was a problem and finding a motor was a little tricky.

And nobody is in a hurry here on Palawan.

That is me walking on the beach in El Nido looking at other boats and trying to get some ideas for my final design.

I am so happy, but I do miss the road a bit too and, of course, all of those that came into my life through expediting.

My business partner called me today and said they are painting the hull and the boat should be in the water by next week.

Next step is getting a mechanic to drop in the engine, propeller shaft and propeller. Then he will fire it up and test it for us.
