Once again I am in agreement with OVM! That's scary. If you are refering to Ramos and Campeon, I am not holding out too much hope for a pardon. Their wives tried to meet with our President Bush last spring and nothing ever came of it. I feel these guards were just doing what they were hired to do. Apparently there is other evidence that they acted illegally to stop the drug dealer. Go figure.

Ramos and Campeon just had another day in court in front of the same judge that sentensed them the 1st time around, all of the charges except 1 were re affirmed. As of now all they can hope for is a communtation of their sentence and they have also filed for a pardon which they don't feel they will get.
No mercy for jailed Border Patrol agent
As for bush doing the right thing, forget it, the U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton behind all of this and bush are good friends, don't look for bush to do the right thing here.

Yrs from now when this is all finally brought to the light of day, it is my opinion that you are going to find that sutton is knee deep in the drug business. He knows family members of the drug dealer, he gave the dealer immunity to testify against the Border guards even after he was charged a 2nd time. It is also thought that sutton was the person responsible for getting the drug dealer a DHS pass to come and go from mexico to the u.s. after this all went down and he used that pass to try and smuggle more drugs here. Sutton even got the info on the 2nd charge ruled inadmissiable in this case.
To answer your question, Ramos and Campeon are scapegoatsin this miscarriage of justice but it isn't about the immigration issue at all, they are pawns being scarficied my our government to appease the mexican government and human rights issues. As I said, since bush and sutton are buddies, Ramos and Campeon will serve all of their time and their lives have been ruined for doing their job.

It is no longer OUR Country, we gave it up over the last several decades. We are now ruled. We no longer control our Government. We asked for it. We got.
