Both " limo riding" pelosi and reid said two yrs. ago "when ELECTED, WE WILL BRING DOWN GAS PRICES". Now if "relected" they are introducing a new .10 per gallon tax to cover the LOST REVENUE from $10,000,000 +++2005 to lost of negative 2009 projected -$12,000,000 due to slower fuel sales!! THEY WILL VOTE YOUR PAYROLL TO PAY FOR THIS- WHILE REFUSING TO BRING A BILL TO DRILL TODAY!! They are laying LOW with this bill thru elections..How anyone in this business supports these loons-- I DON'T GET IT! PELOUSY LIED!!

Now, there's talk about the Dems expanding their control on Congress this election. With their approval at 9-18%, it makes me wonder how it's possible. Guess ppl are that mind-numbingly mind-numb. Something needs to wake up the ppl in this country! I swear ppl want the right to vote, no matter what... but they don't have a lick of sense when it comes to knowing what it takes to pull the lever.

My dad has said for at least 45 years that I can remember "Most people are too stupid to be allowed to vote.". The lifetime lock of Kennedy, ongoing election of Feinstein, Reid, Pelosi and the nomination of Obama prove him right. Their refusal to allow drilling is just another example proving they are not looking out for the best interest of the nation and those voting for them are too stupid to be allowed to vote.

I remember my Grandfather, rest his soul, in the late sixties saying that he can't imagine the hippies running this country. Well I am sure he has turned over in his grave many times here in the last 15 years. WAY too much acid a coke passed around back then lol

If I may comment,campaign fibs maybe full of holes,it's true on both sides.
But lined up against bold face lies and a probable criminal distortion of the truth,otherwise known as CONSPIRICY that killed and maimed thousands,it's hardly a fair comparison,now is it boys????????

Regarding the hippie deal, it seems some of your misguided grandpas and granadma's wandered out west during the summer of love. You know what me and my buddies did when granny and pa showed up ? Took all their money,made love to all their women,then aimed them back to Kentuckey and Arkansas and Mississippi and points north and south.
They were part of something alright,the summer of my life at 18 !!!!!!

Well speaking of Obama and Germany, it was really haunting to hear this line - "People of Berlin, people of the world, this is our moment. This is our time"

I really think that this exact line was used in the 30's at a party rally a few hundred km down the road.

Ben Stein made an off the wall comment and it took a while to sink in. He said that with this trip of Obama's and the acceptance speech outside of the venue that is holding the DNC convention (which is supposed to be 'green' by the way), it looks like another Nuremberg Rally in the making.

Sorry for you Obama supporters, there is a term used - cult of personality and everything from the rhetoric to the fervent defense of Obama to the race issue points right to a creation of a cult of personality. I listened to someone who is screaming racism becuase some old lady questioned his economic plan, it was disgusting. So I feel we as a country are leaping backwards with this cult of personality and the people who are promiting it.

Wiki defines it as; "A cult of personality or personality cult arises when a country's leader uses mass media to create a heroic public image through unquestioning flattery and praise." which is about the same as my poly sci books define it as.

The thing is, many can't get the placement of things in photos, the highly controlled interviews and all the other things that were practiced by Hitler and others to give the impression that the person is above all of us, like a God.

not the first time i have encountered the hitler - obama comparison. actually i'm not sure its being fair to hitler. at least he had a plan (i didn't say it was a good plan)

obama is the least qualified canidate. his personal associations are questionable. his tendenecy to mis-remember his past. his unwillingness to address questions 'let us not be distracted'.
he gives a good speech. has managed to inspire thousands without really saying anything. 'hi-ho hi-ho its off to work we go' fairy tale campaign is working for him.

i know i'll regret it if he's elected, i'm afraid the country will too. too late.

As my dad has said forever, or at least my entire lifetime, most people are too stupid to be allowed to vote. The current congressional approval rating, the idiocy spouted by Pelosi/Reid regarding energy in the face of proof by oil prices the last several days, etc. confirms his thesis. When the stupids elect Adolf we'll all suffer.
