Yeah, too bad we don't have any. I wonder if they have all the silly "rules of engagement" that our troops are burdened with? I kind of doubt it. I hope they do well, those nukes must be kept out of the hands of the Taliban and all the other goofies out there.
There is NO truce with people like this as many have found out and we should have found out by now. This war MUST be fought with the same zeal and resolve as when we took out Germany and Japan. The scurge must be stopped. Most people in the west do NOT fully understand what is going on and, at least in this country, make NO effort to try to learn. They just spout slogans and feel good platitudes. In the mean time, innocent people die everyday and our own safety and security is threatend.
AS should we. We face the SAME threat from these sub-humans that Pakistan does, we should fight WITH them in the same manner. We need to secure Afganistan, it can be done. NOTHING is impossible.
No we are NOT getting beat by sheephearders, we just are NOT allowing our troops to fight!! BIG difference. The Soviets got beat to a large extent because of our support to help defeat them. THEN we REALLY screwed up, which is the main reason we are over there now. We did NOTHING to help that country recover from that war and left a HUGE power vaccum. We should have stayed and helped. We threw the Afgan people to the wolves so to speak. The take over by the Taliban was the result of that stupidity. Now the entire region is threatend by these sub-humans and we go over and decide to play tiddally winks rather than fight them, finish it and then help the area recover. As in MOST countries the everyday Afgan person just wants to live a quiet life. We really should do all we can to correct our past mistakes.

pakistan can handle their situation as long as the US lets them fight and not "talk" has OVM said. But the libs here have hamstrung pakistan just as they have our own troops, one with azzinine ROE and the other politically...
As long as the libs and weak kneed Republicians (bush at the end) let the idiots in washington make the decisions instead of the commanders on the ground, we are in a mess we will not win....but then again, barry has said no one needs to win, just find a peace....the libs have no guts for war and death or dying of the enemy and they have no idea on how to win a war, nor do they have any liking of the military to begin with...afghan and pakistan will be barrys vietnam.
