Ohio Rest Area showers

Has anyone use the showers at a Rest Area in Ohio? I understand the service is free but you need to supply your own towels. Just wondering what to expect.

I went in to use the restroom, and the showers looked pretty clean.

Diane and I have used those showers several times. They are cleaned several times a day, modern and well-lit. We have always been able to find one that had not been used since it was last cleaned. Just remember to bring your own soap and towel in with you. The price is right too...no charge.

Does that apply to "rest areas" along I roads in general in Ohio?
Or just to "service centers" along the Ohio Turnpike?

I believe the showers are only in the service centers.

So the "free" showers only cost the amount of toll you pay versus driving on 20 for no charge.

Leo,Be sure to watch it when running 20. The Bears and locals try hard to drive the trucks back to the toll road. They will write you for the slightest infraction.
