Obama's region of doom

It's Jim Beam and it's a brand of whiskey made by generations of the Beam family that came from Germany and settled in Kentucky...GOOD STUFF!

** Only the liberal lackeys in the mainstream media would regard a sitting president with a record worse than Jimmy Carter to be an inevitable second-termer. It will be interesting to see the direction public opinion turns and how "inevitable" Obama is if SCOTUS declares his signature achievement to be unconstitutional in the near future.

That's due to the "give me" crowd--the people addicted to Other People's Money. Obama is their man, and there's enough of them to almost make him a shoo-in. Any opponent not as eager to redistribute money has to really hustle and put things together just right to win. Being Obama-lite isn't putting things together right.

Add to Obama's automatic votes the ones who will vote for him solely because he's a Demon-crat or because he's black, and you can see how he's the prohibitive favorite

They did - Romney is a far better choice than Barack Hussein Obama, even though he's not the perfect candidate. Let's just face facts - we'll never see the perfect candidate because anyone that's been in a public office that has even a modicum of responsibility has made decisions that someone, somewhere will disagree with. But looking at the picture as a whole, we can get rid of this incompetent socialist POTUS and vote out congressmen that don't adhere to conservative principles. This was the case with Richard Lugar, and can certainly be the case with these liberal democrats that have supported the Obama agenda. The gains are made incrementally, and the 2010 midterm elections were a good first step. The momentum will continue this fall.

Romney is not worth voting for. He's not even worth the gas money it would take to get to the polls.
It's not that he's an imperfect candidate; he's an unacceptable candidate.
He's the establishment's man for the status quo, something we can't continue. The status quo means an end to freedom and any standard of living in this country above starving, sooner rather than later. We had to have a complete 180 to avoid what's coming, and you didn't want it. When the country falls or degenerates into a military dictatorship, hold your head up and be proud of having helped usher it in.

Voters in the United States need to elect someone besides Barack Obama to lead them. Whoever is elected President of the United States in 2012 will have to contend with the monumental problems that Obama’s misguided policies have caused both at home and abroad. Obama is the last person on the planet who is qualified to do that.

From the economy to scandal laden stimulus initiatives, to favoritism toward unions at the expense of everyone else, to foreign policy to radical Islam to the treatment of Israel, to Obamacare to green energy scams to Fast and Furious, President Obama has proven over and over again that he isn’t made of presidential timber and his adolescent tendencies prove that he doesn’t have presidential temperament.

In a nutshell, electing Barack Obama to serve as President of the United States in 2008 was a terrible mistake, and one that needs to be rectified in the 2012 presidential election.

In that light, I present to you the text from a bumper sticker I have seen more than once:

If You Voted for Obama in 2008 to Prove You’re Not a Racist, You Need to Vote for Someone Else in 2012 to Prove You’re Not an Idiot

You vote for the aceptable one ill vote for the one that has a chance at winning. Voting for someone with no shot or as many call it a protest vote is admirable but at the same time short sighted. Imho of course.

I'm confused as to how voting your conscious is a protest vote. Should we really stick our wet fingers into the air and vote the wind of public opinion and be fair weather voters? I don't believe Romney will be a good president, and I already know for sure that Obama isn't. I can't, in good conscious, vote for either of them. How is that a protest?

Obama squandered all his political capital to force Obamacare through Congress. He had a supermajority in Congress back then. Now, he cannot build a consensus around any issue because he blew it all on a Big Government approach to socialized medicine. Obamacare is his legacy and the Supreme Court will announce in 30 days whether it stands. Yes, he was given the Nobel Peace Prize for nothing. He got lots of kudos for nothing. Can anyone make the case why this man deserves a second term?

Because SO many American's are TOO stupid and/or too lazy to vote for someone, anyone, that would follow the Constitution. Far too many are "Gimme Goobers". They have learned that, in the U.S., being lazy is FAR easier and often pays better than EARNING a living is. Having no pride, they prefer to stay kept by their "Sugar Daddy".

Well, OK, Confused.....:)

Isn't ONLY voting for the one that has a chance at winning a short sighted vote over all?

I mean, do you not have any principals when it comes to your Vote. Any expectations as to how your Vote may benefit your beliefs....your morals.....your values???

Just something I thought needed to be pointed out with regards to your thoughts....that's all.

it is very commonly referred to as a protest vote when one votes for someone who has no chance. It is a vote against the what the majority offers. I didnt create the term or say its correct in all cases just referenced it because for some that is exactly what it is.

Many just simply have different views. That does not make them stupid or lazy. Obviously there is that class of voters but it is not a majority in and of itself.

As I have said before it is my belief you fight for your guy in the primaries. If he or she does not rise to the top it is time to vote for who you feel will do the better job out of the viable ones avaiable. My beliefs and values say now I must do whatever I can to deny Obama a second term and I intend to do my part to achieve that result.

We are close to reaching a point where the number of tax payers are out numbered by those who pay no taxes. I think that the figure is around 40% that pay little or no taxes. We have perfectly healthy, able bodied college students on food stamps. We have people on 'extended unemployment' (welfare II) who refuse jobs to stay on it. I would be willing to bet that if you put ALL of the different types of 'gimmie goobers' together they just might, already, be a majority of U.S. voters.
