Obama made a great show of having many homosexuals at his “Easter egg roll” rubbing Christians' noses in what he called a "teachable moment" against "the forces of homophobia and hate."

Easter is Christianity’s major holy day. Why did he not mock and insult Muslims in the same way?

Why did Obama not shove a “teachable moment” into the faces of Muslims?

Earlier this year, Obama forced Christians to watch in dismay as he hijacked the Christian holiday of Easter to endorse homosexual child rearing, and he used Ramadan to endorse the construction of a massive mosque on the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He clearly hates Christianity and embraces Islam, as well as homosexuality. It's only unclear which one he prefers, or fears, more. It seems to be Islam since he didn't include any gays, lesbians, transgenders, transexuals, cross-dressers, or pre-ops at his Ramadan celebration.

This is a deadly double standard by a man who refused to attend the National Day of Prayer breakfast, refused to attend the Boy Scouts of America (because of their policy of protecting boys from potential "gay" predators) and wants to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act. He and his wife Michele attended Jeremiah Wright's hate-filled "church" that promoted overt racism and black liberation theology for years. This is Obama's sole connection with what the media think is legitimate Christianity.

Why is the media as silent about Obama's purposeful neglect of the gay, lesbians and transgender community" when it comes to his Muslim holiday celebration as they are about that fact that the California city of Bell's entire corruption scandal was 100% Democrat?

You know Chef, I do not see any slap in the face. A lot of Muslims view homosexuality as a abomination to the human race and even though there is a toleration for it, they have yet to take the approach that Christians have taken by allowing not just an acceptance of it as a main stream part of everyday life but forcing upon their congregations gay leadership of sorts within some sects of the church.

The Christian philosophy has been split for decades over this issue, just as the abortion issue has divided them but this issue has evolved like it or not. What we could not conceive in our worst nightmares (or best dreams for some) has come to past.

Easter, as much as it is a holiday is like Christmas, a day that we celebrate with our money. Gift giving, re-gifting, easter bunny sales and so on have forced us to be at a loss what these two holidays actually mean for a lot of people. Commercialization of these holidays haven't been fought by true Christians but embraced while Muslims fight against it and see it as an assault on their holidays - by the way this is not about the US but a world wide issue.

As for this event, I agree with the president, he did the right thing and more so by not include the token gay person which is exhibitionism at its best. If this doesn't suit the gay activists, screw them. They have yet to define what gay is and still ride on the concept that all of them can't help being gay to garner support and sympathy. Until they can come up with a definition, they are just like me or you or anyone else and don't need to be represented outside of that simple and plain fact of being human.

No the issue is he felt it neccessary to forece the gay agenda on the christians because he knew he could and also show the gyas he was doing something for their cause..he didn't do it for the ramadan dinner because he knew the uproar it would cause and the affront to islam that he would be putting out....

The christians were told that they needed to be tolerate, while no such message was forced upon the muslums....

Can you say hypocritical? Perhaps it's the fact he's a Muslim and won't do anything to upset his chosen religion but doesn't mind upsetting Christians since he isn't one and uses that just as a cover for his true faith.

The OP of the post you posted here made it clear what it really is all about, it has nothing to do with the issue they make it out as but rather more fear baiting.

See Chef you may get this, but most of the Christians who look at Muslims as enemies because they are so afraid. They are not willing to learn.

We have a serious problem more so now than we did in the recent past, we are now becoming a divided nation along the lines of religion which is very very bad. If we as a nation don't stop it, we will regret it soon.

The president is doing the right thing, not using props when talking to Muslims, they don't trust us and this is one way of moving into a mutual trust situation. If this means not offending them, then so be it. If it means that he has not speak openly about issues but take a back room approach, then so be it.

No Greg, if it was a "Teachable Moment" of tolerance for te christians, its is No less and maybe even more for the Intolerance of islam against homosexuals....whats good for one is good for the other...discrimination is discrimination....he chose to "teach" the christians because he knew he could get away with it and it served his political agenda, he chose not to "teach" the muslums because he knew they would be offended and it wouldn't serve hs agenda..plain and simple...

Jusy how are we a "religious divded nation"?? So are you saying that there will be a "Violate conflict" here that will be set off because of how Americans feel about how the muslum religion is trying to inflict their beliefs and sharia on the country?? I think you said in another thread that we "only" have approx 5 million muslums here so it wasn't a big deal...now its a big deal and the country will regret it because we aren't willing to bend to the muslum dictates????

No one has said that they can't worship has they want as with any other religion, but to further infict their beliefs on those that don't want them and to try and add to our countries laws their sharia laws, nope, sorry, most are interested...

So to not appease them is to create an enviroment where the rest of the nation is at risk.....but its ok to force "teachable moments" on christians or even non-believers and that needs to be accepted in the name of tolerance...unless you are muslum...

The thing here on this issue, the lack of Homosexuals at barrys ramadan dinner..isn't about islam or muslums..everyone knows their intolerance of homosexuals, but it is about barry..and his double standard towards christians....he occupies the WH, if he needs to teach christians, then follow suit without discrimination and teach tolerance to the muslums and those of islamic faith also...we have no "state religion" that he should be pandering to.....
