New to this site

Hi all,

I'm new to this site but have been driving a van for a small carrier for two years. I stumbled upon this site while reading up on a couple of carriers I'm interested in moving to. The two carriers are Load One and Panther. If anyone has any personal experience with them, I'd love to hear from you.

I don't believe Load One is looking for vans right now. Is there a reason you are looking at those 2?

I've been doing periodic research and those two, based on what I read have made me the most curious. I'm open to other carriers as well.

I have been with Bolt since May and I think they are a decent company. The pay has been good not the best ever but better than a lot of other companies. I have my issues with them but overall I think they are a decent company to work for. There are several people here that drive for them and some that left but I think most have a positive view of them.

Thanks Paul. I know a couple of guys who drove for Bolt and from what they told me, it's sort of of mixed bag, similar to what you describe.

Every carrier is a 'mixed bag', with positives and negatives. If there were just one that everyone thought perfect, the rest would not last long, right? We all have different 'pet peeves', so the carrier for you is the one that doesn't commit what you consider mortal sins. You'll have to accept some venial ones, cause nobody's perfect, but that works both ways: they'll accept your minor blemishes, too.
Know thyself, and the 'best' carrier becomes much easier to choose.
