I hope it is not the new truck I saw at the convention last year.

What is wrong with these iggets!

Driver from xxx came up and wanted me to hear his wisdom of expediter brilliantness. Lol

Him: man it's been great out here. I'm glad I found xxx company.

Me: as long as you're happy.

Yeah, I've been doing this for 14 months and it just started getting better.

Me: that's expedite for ya.

I'm on my 4th carrier.

Me: only 4?

How many have you been with?

Me: 2

Wow, you must of just started last year

Me: nope, been doing this for 12 years

How can you make money with two carries?

Me: well when one cuts rates so much you gotta do what you gotta do. So, after 81/2 years I moved on..

When are you going to another carrier?

Me: I'm not

That's just foolish

Me: if all goes as plan, this is the last carrier I will be with. Jumping from carrier to carrier is the foolishness of some. It is a unnecessary cost to you to jump around. You never have time to learn that carriers customer base and trends. It seems you are only after miles, and when you sit for a few days you get itchy feet and start the "I'm leaving" thinking. That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works.

I am after those miles. I did 2400 miles one week and made $1600.00

Me: and you don't see what's wrong with that? What is your cost per mile?

What's that?

Me: have a good day and good luck.
