Hi everyone, my boyfriend is currently driving for panther. Is it a good option to get on sites such as getloaded.com or expediteloads.com for loads when they don't have loads for him or to get backhauls? Any advice would be appreciated, Thank you.

Depends on what type of truck he drives. But I would say yes its a good idea to get on the websites you listed for backhauls if he is in a straight truck or tractor trailer. Also he can get on panthers website and look under drivers web page and they have a few backhaul options there with CH Robinson and Landstar.

He drives a tractor trailer. How do the load boards work? Do I just find the loads for him and just tell him to pick them up? He has his own Ein number, tax ID number, and dot # and all that. Thank you for your input.

Chris gives good advice - I booked just one backhaul when I drove for Panther, but they had to arrange it, because they take a percentage of it.
Current and accurate info is always best. :)

As with the others, I would call to get specific information, restrictions, and guidelines so you know what you are doing.
The only item that the broker would generally need is you Panther MC number, type of trailer, dimensions, and your rate.

For what they do, load boards are invaluable to any trucking business. If you keep one return trip from being empty, you’ve more than paid for a year of service.

Hi there, He spoke to panther and panther says you can use load boards as long as they do not give you anything within 24 hours of when you dropped your last load. How do the load boards work? Do i find him the loads myself and give them his mc and dot# and his rates? Thank you for your help.:)
