It's a fast way to go broke!!!

Not sure bout all that, This bussiness and equipt can drag anyone down @ allmost any given time.
For sure my Lease/Purchuse (and carrier) has had me 1 flat tire away from failure several times. But without the option of turning truck back and walking away I seemed to work thru it each time, and make all the payments on time.

If this was a lease thru a carrier I am more then sure I would have left the keys with them sevaral times and walked away. Not having that option made me do what ever it took to make payments.
All in all I think it worked well for me and allowed me add one of those lil trucks without having to lease it and adding to my bottom line every payday. With just a few small payments left I am shopping for ways to pick-up another straight truck..But that may turn into a clean lil Sprinter or like truck??? Keeping both options open and taking my time shopping for another.

Lease and lease/purchase is entirely different.

Many times a true lease is a good way to go, I have done it several times.
