That's as bad as the lady that wanted the deer crossing signs moved to a less busy road, so they wouldn't get hit while crossing the street. She suggested using the school crossing as an alternative.

Earlier this year, a truck overturned and some cattle dropped from the bridge onto the roadway below. This happened where Interstate 80 breaks from 294 and goes West. The PETA people wanted a memorial for the cattle that died. They, too, were on the way to market where they were to meet the destiny of beef cattle everywhere, but somehow the highway death is important.
