DC Chief Judge Boasberg just ruled Rep. Scott Perry must turn over 1600+ emails to DOJ investigators.
Apparently stuff which doesn't pertain to one's legislative duties in Congress isn't shielded from criminal investigation ... and insurrectioning isn't within the duties of a legislator.

Well, I'm no expert so I'm just spit-balling here ... but I'd hazard a guess that now that it has become apparent that there are substantial numbers of lawless, violence-prone criminals among The Orange Menace's supporters, some of our elected officials might be thinking about future security of the US Capitol and the personnel that work there.
That's probably a good thing ... given the mental disease those supporters suffer from.

It’s important to see the actual interviews instead of a transcript. It helps detect untruthfulness through body language and other techniques.

Democrats (and law enforcement) were rightly concerned that releasing all the Capitol footage could expose security vulnerabilities which could allow for further attacks domestic violent extremists and enhance their chances of success ...

"Quite a few" is doing a whole lot of work there.
In actual fact, three (3) people (out of roughly 500) in the Capitol were charged with assaulting police as the police attempted to remove them from the Rotunda or after they had been removed and were being processed:

I wouldn't say that's "quite a few" ... but it's definitely 3 too many ... if it did indeed occur.

All these people who tricked into keeping Trump as president are sitting in jail because he lied to them. And you know why he didnt pardon them? Because they failed to do what he wanted them to do. I bet he privately tells people that they can rot in prison because they are failures.
Whatever Jan. 6th was, it wasn't a riot. If it had been, there would have been weeks, if not months, of cleaning and repairing and rebuilding all the fire damage and other damage. Ask Portland and others.

Presumes that all riots are of a particular scale and magnitude.
Of course, that's simply nonsensical.
I've seen a number of MAGA people argue that it was a riot but not an insurrection. So, according to them, it was definitely a riot. (And according to three courts, it was an insurrection too.)
