Alaska for 60¢? Oh hell no. 1500 miles thru Canada, paying $3.50+/- for fuel? I'm too broke to even think of such foolishness

We have driven the van north in the summer and south in the winter. Had a great time, hard on the wallet and van. It is a one of a kind trip, glad we have the memeries. Would drive it again if we needed to, but the plane is a much better deal. The ferry is called the Alaska Marine Highway, if you have to ask $$$$$$$$$$$$.
