The year I graduated from High School

1964 as the war in Vietnam and US Congress Authorities war against N Vietnam more American servicemen were dying, and after three civil rights workers were murdered in Mississippi the president signed the Civil Rights act of 1964 but this did not stop the violence as it continued to increase in many American Cities. Lyndon Johnson was also returned to power after a landslide victory. This was also the year The Beatles took the world and America by storm and Beatlemania went into overdrive as they released a series of number one hits including "I want to hold your hand" , "All my Loving" .

Other British groups also found success including The Rolling Stones and The Animals and together with the American Talent of The Supremes and Bob Dylan many say this was one of the greatest years for music in the last century.

Also one young loud talented boxer by the name of Cassius Clay won the Boxing World heavyweight championship from Sonny Liston.

Yep, and in 1964 I was 13. I had started working, Fri and Sat nights only, just the year before. I worked 8 - 9 hours per week and made 40 - 50 dollars per week. Wish I was doing as good now as I was then. :(

The year my older brother was born in a big town America called Louisville,K.Y
{the family story go's something like: it used to be just another hospital, but after that amassing birth & the cutest child to be born that year- they decided to change the name of the whole hospital to what it is now...}.
also the year which my mom graduated first in class in a UofK music school, a talent that clearly skipped a generation...

Did you know ... the first Mustang was actually a Falcon? the 64 1/2 Falcon Futura was the test bed for the Mustang.

I did not start "ASA U" until Oct, '71.
