It takes 5 to 8 hours to properly install one, depending on where and how is mounted, battery connections, and duct work. You want the right amount of heat in all the right places.

In any case, a cost analysis will show you that even at two grand, it'll pay for itself the first winter.

Your right about that. I spent about 10 hours installing mine. Plus had to have a shop drop the fuel tank so I could cut and install the fuel pickup. Lots of cutting, drilling, wire routing, and rereading the instructions. It's probably worth the installation money unless your really handy in the shop and have a warm place to do it.
