It might not be a bad idea to figure other work-arounds as well. This segment is right in the heart of the city, you can imagine what 465 is going to be like during rush-hours.
For those who didn't get the alert (they gave information at the rest stops, I have a copy of it from one of these rest stops) the segment they're shutting down for bridge work is between the I-70/I-65 splits. They're working to increase bridge clearances since there have been a number of bridge strikes.

Lived in Indianapolis all my life, if you need to take 465 around the city I suggest taking 465 south, rush hour in Indy is not that bad but the North side of 465 is usually the worse.

I have a old friend lives near Greenwood. We worked together for several years. We manage to see them every couple of years or so.
