how much should i charge?

hi im reletively new to this biz. i wanted to know how to charge for loads. i do OTR, and its usualy last minute stuff that has to b delivered by the A.M. Is $2 per mile a fair price from a broker or could i be getting more. im an owner operator with 22' straight truck. thanx in advance

Fair is relative.

What I mean is unless you have no clue what your operating cost is, it could be a loss or a profit.
