How long will it take?

With the clowns in Congress ( on both sides) and the ring leader in the oval office making our counrty into a 50 ring circus how long will it take for some of the rings to decide to leave? I think it's going to happen and a few states are going to leave the union. I'm about ready to start pushing for my state's independence. Although I know it won't happen because to many people are scared to make anything happen. I'm tired of people like Nancy Pelousi calling so many of the shots in this country when only a very small section of the country put her in Congress. How does a small section of one state, especially one of the most liberal section of the country, get to pick the third in charge? I wouldn't care if the Speaker was a Republican I honestly think that is something the country as a whole should be allowed to vote on. I'm through with my rant since I'm sure it will fall on deaf ears.

The "sovereignty" movements that are going on in about 15-18 states right now are not to break awy from the union, but to make it known to the FEDERAL Gov and barry that the states will not take lightly some of barrys efforts to step on states rights and simply ignore the Constitution.....

Personally id love to see the states start to pull back the taxes that they send to the fed since in some cases they aren't getting back as much as they send in.....a few states do that and they will get someones attention reallly quick.....:D

It will just take some people having the guts to do something. Everyone is sitting around and waiting on someone else to do something for them.

Actually Chef, Vermont has a lot of people talking about it, I think it was voted on a few times in the past 5 years and the people who said yes grew double digits.

Texas and few other states, like I think Montana have an actual contract with the US Federal Government that can be nullified and it is not succession. Texas can divide itself in to I heard 8 someone said 10 separate parts as little republics. It maybe Wyoming that had a succession clause in their contract which allowed them to remove themselves from the fed except for the some odd thing, like maybe providing military resources.
