What is a Rascal Flatt? I have had many flat tires but never a flat rascal. You have to work the clubs, night in and night out. You need a following of fans. Make enough waves in the local market and a promoter will find you. Most artists that were overnight successes spent years getting to that point.

You need to be in the clubs at the very least EVERY Fri and Sat, more nights would be better. You need to get to the point where people are demanding that the club they go to books you. Try working some of the bigger charity events as well, they often get free TV time.

Where do you live?? Let me know and I will PM you some open stages where you can sing with a band. The name of the game today is singing and playing out live. I don't mean Karaoke either. You've got to get with a band and develop a stage presence.

You ever hear of Tootsie's bar and grill in Nashville? That is where a ton of aspiring country singers go to play for free in hopes of being discovered by some of the scouts that frequent that bar. The place is legendary,and is on Broadway in downtown Nashville, behind the old- Grand old opry.I used to go there all the time in my drinking days. It is nice, has alot of history to it, and the people are great. And it is not unusual to run into a successful and well- known country singer in there once in awile.

Put up a Myspace page with your music on it. You can also use Youtube, thats how Journey found the new lead singer. YouTube - FAITHFULLY : by Arnel Pineda withe Zoo Band He is now the lead singer of Journey after Neal Schone from Journey found him on Youtube and the rest is history.
