well im sitting just south of telto ohio at 1b the flying j waiting on my first load i got my truck fixed in detroit today now in just folling around trying to figure how every ting works got a big question wnat is the landing gear behind the back tires used for i know it may sound stupid to you but for a newbis it is a asensible question??????????????????????

It is lowered to take the weight off of the springs and axles when a fork lift is used to load you.

It seems that the landing gear has something to do with ownership of the truck. The landing gear on fleet trucks don't get used near as often as the O/O truck.

Allways use the landing gear when loading / unloading.

thanks i found that out when i had to pick up my first load in teldo ohioo and had to tramps thru 3 ft of snow to drop it i was freezing all the taw to the tamarac in wva before i had a chance to change
