i use VLINGO on my droid with a blue parrot headset..never have to touch your phone..

That is pretty neat, but I wonder if it would interfere with turns? Guess it wouldn't work that well for a NASCAR driver. Drive straight, turn left, turn left........

It's just another flavor of external Bluetooth speaker phone. They make 'em to go on your sun visor, too. The noise canceling is mediocre at best.

Due to the number of times we need to jump in & out of the truck at the shipper, consignee, fuel stops, I much prefer the Bluetooth that goes with me. Then I just have to remember to grab the phone, lol.

And people think I'm crazy when I say "I don't really CARE right now!" because they don't see the thing in my ear that just announced "There is no active phone connected" lol.
So if I ever do go off the deep end, probably no one will even notice.
Seriously, there's versions of Bluetooth that work through the radio & the CB, and they have the same drawback: you lose it when you get out of the truck. I'll stick with my Blue Ant & put the phone where it's handy for grabbing as I exit..
