Generators * Cost / Installation

We have a couple of trucks without generators. Our other trucks have Pro Heat 4's that have less than 1000 hours, and both at this time are having starting problems.
Does anyone have experience with any other brand of generator that provides all that is needed for a condo bunk?
Is anyone aware of any special pricing or discounts for Pro Heat or
Rig Master?

Tom,

Starting problems at 100 hours?!? I'd be ringing up my dealer and giving him a "polite" earfull about the situation!

I've got 252 hours on my ProHeat as of this moment. Starting is sometimes a little slow but it chugs up to speed and then runs great. I've noticed that you must be ready to press start when it says so and if you are too quick it really doesn't want to start. Also, I've noticed if you let it go through the cycle and when the press start message disappears push on/off again so the glowplugs heat a second time that can make it start a little easier. I think it's a matter of getting the glow plugs warm enough and catching the start then.

Sounds like a glow plug or grounding issue.
If real slow just in cold climates, switch to a synthetic oil. Read manual to ensure the break in period has been passed. You want to make sure the oil seals have seated prior to synthetic use.
If it is doing it all the time, put a amp meter on it to isolate the problem.
