Yesterdays wind storms in SE Michigan were right on cue. The famous "Gales of November" are part and parcel of the history of the State.

The most famous "victim" of the "Gales" was the Edmond Fitzgerald. She was an ore carrier that was very well known in the Detroit area. She was built in River Rouge, Michigan.

She went down in a "Gale" on November 10, 1975 in Lake Superior.

You know Layout, that isn't really an important event because in the first two weeks of November of 1913, the worst storm we ever had happened and it reeked hell and havoc in region and killed 250 people.
