In my day it was one hot car.
So was the Vega. So hot the aluminum block would melt. :)
dang almost forgot about that GM entry into the POS market...;p

Remember the Chevy Vega with the V8 engine? Where you had to remove the engine to get at the rear spark plugs? That was a hoot.

Or the Chevy Chevette. Notorious for having a rusted out 'floorboard'. Like a Fred Flint Stone vehicle. Yep, had one.

I had a little 78 Chevy Monza (same as the Pontiac Sunbird). 4 cylinder, 5 speed, got ridiculous fuel mileage.

The Chevy Chevette got great fuel mileage, when it didn't break down. Then it got bad fuel mileage.

You are thinking the Monza with an optional V-8. The Vega only came with a 4 cylinder.
