Fl70 Gauge Lights

Hi, i have an Freightliner FL70 2000 m/y. I have a question as to what the lights (warning lights) on the dash mean. I tried a google search on the item but came up with nothing. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. The one i most concerned about is the one that is just a line that has loops in it (yea bad explination)

Thanks for your help.

If I understand your description that is the charging system. Should not stay on long after starting. It may stay on a few minutes when temps outside are pretty cold. It will go off after truck warms up.

It will light up for alt. problems etc.

OK assuming you have the light cluster on the bottom like mine 1999, going from left to right - TOP ROW
(first Group)
Low pressure/high water temp
Low Water
Low Oil
Alternator (which mine did not work when my belt snapped)

(second group)
ABS warning light
Traction ABS
Wheel Spin (are they being wishful?)
Deep snow/mud

Going left to right - BOTTOM ROW
(first group)
Engine Down
Engine Check
Glow Plug (or in my case grid heater)
Air cleaner restriction

(second group)
Do not shift
Trans Temp
Water in Fuel/Water Sperator
AND the parking brake indicator.

There are electronic copies of the owners manual for M2 and the earlier business class trucks at the FL site, I don't have a link for them sorry you will have to search around.

Randy stop in at a F/Liner dealer. They would probably be happy to explain to you what does what.

Ok, thanks.

Ok, was just wondering what that light was it shows up from time to time, mostly if i let the battery get low and restart the truck.

Oh, and i got the wheels to spin today and there was no light for that (St. Louis is one big hockey rink)
