I don't see how people can't understand that gun control laws only affect law biding citizens. The criminals will always obtain what they need to commit thier crimes any way they can. After Columbine I wanted them to train and arm select teachers at each school. Why would that not be an effective measure? The same goes for pilots. But oh no the liberal radicals would never allow something that made that much sense.

The thing I dislike about labeling is that it pretty often leads to name calling, which is just a substitute for actual thinking. I don't call myself a liberal, as others do, and yet I am 100% behind the original post. Especially #12 - I am continuously in awe of the selfless attitude of the men who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Are there any like them in politics today?

One thing anti gun people say a lot is that when the 2nd amendment was written we only had muskets, so, it should only apply to muskets. Not semi autos, bolt action, or lever action. If this were the case, would it not be true that the 1st amendment would only apply to town criers, and printing presses?

It's crystal clear and yet so many are on the wrong side. I question their motives. I don't believe they are that stupid. I believe they are of the subjugate and conquer camp. A few probably are truly that stupid but not the majority of antis.
