Our government would do better with "DARTS" and a policy "DART BOARD" than what is going on now. This congress and administration just SUCK!! More and more socialism, control, dis-reguard of the Constitution than the last two combined!! All this while they seem, at least on the surface, to be ignoring the threats to our security from Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia. Either that or they agree with those idealologies.

My brother-in-law says..." I don't want the stinkin health care....let the government give me a stable economy to be able to make a living and I'll buy my own health care like we've done before....." Why does the Government think they have a right to make MY choses??" Their job is to provide an economy where the country can do well and provide security ..and they are failing miserably.

Actually, they don't have that job, other than making trade agreements with other countries. Otherwise, they're supposed to stay out of the way.

You'll see I made bold the part about the economy in OVM's post. I know defense is their job.

Besides defense, treaties and trade, the only other jobs the fed is supposed to have is overseeing the courts and coining money. Since the interstate system was built as a defense policy, I would say add that too. But everything else should be relegated to the states. I'm certain a WHOLE lot more would be done to make sure money isn't wasted, if the feds only got enough to take care of the above.

The Interstate Commerce clause and the Congressional 'Necessary and Proper' clause are vague and thus, abused. Those should be revamped to stipulate the EXACT meaning of what Congress can or cannot do.

You are right of course, but I know what OVM's brother-in-law meant. He, as do I, just want the government to "GET OUT OF OUR LIVES AND OUT OF THE WAY!!" I think that gets the main idea over fairly well!!!

Thats exactly it....to get our manufacturing base back....so far besides HIM creating yet another team to look into it.....you'd think that would be a top agenda.....

But OVM, that is ALL Dumb-O-Crats do!! Study, talk, talk, appoint teams to study, talk talk and then study what they have talked about, then appoint CZARS to take over the country and circumvent the Constitution. Then no one else will be allowed to talk about the "stuff" that they are cramming down our faces!!! Bet you can't guess I don't like this bunch!!!

Experts?? Czars?? Just wonder Which "Experts" Talked Obumma into Wasting Billions of Our Tax Payer Dollars on GM and Chrysler when The "Experts" should have seen the writing on the wall because it was Apparent that these Companies were Still Going to go Belly Up..So Now, Not only do we Have The Loss of those Billions of Dollars because It's a Safe Bet that those Billions of Dollars were Also Included in the Bankruptcy's. I Know GM Hasn't Filed Yet, But they will Probably this Upcoming Week. And as Far as the "Czars" go, They wouldn't need any "Czars" IF Obumma and His Little Band of Thieves would Have Stayed out of it!! All Obumma did was Create a few Jobs for His Buddies, Probably for Campaign Contributions! The POS Occupying the Whitehouse Has to Go, More Sooner than Later!
