It is an invastion , it is a government supported invasion and an act of war regardless who does it.
Comparing two journalist who were bent on getting a story that had nothing to do with us here and the invaders who breech our borders causes one to think where our priorities are.
The poem on the statue of liberty is that, A POEM and not our country's policy. It is far removed from the reality of what immigration controls should be and it is not any means a solution for much of the world.
If we are to beleive that we should have open borders, then we should have reciprocating open borders like the EU. We should be able to travel to Canada or Mexico uninhibited as does one from Germany go to France. But then again their system of controls are far different from our, they care about France and how someone from Germany who is illegally working there effects the country, where we don't.
It all comes down to most of the idiots who don't get this part are for open borders and allowing people who invaded the country stay without any accountability but they are just that idiots because of other half of the coin where there is modern slavery going on in this country. They have to include that or stay out of the discussion all together.
The more important question is why are we not seizing the property of the farmers, ranchers and food processors who knowingly hire these people? Why not? We do it for less offensive crimes like tax crimes and drug crimes, right? We split up families all the time who's parent has committed a crime, what makes someone who has invaded this country more important than someone who was born here and committed a crime?
Compassion for an individual over the country is not what we should be concern about, splitting up or deporting an entire family is not done to just punish a person for breaking the most basic law that makes the citizen a sovereign individual but to also ensure that the sovereignty of the individual and the country is protected.
