Nice little town and some cool Civil War stuff there and nearby, but otherwise--at least for me--Gadsden was the center of a Dead Zone.

En route with a $1+ shorty to the Big Windy right now. Picked up 5mi from where I woke up in Milwaukee. I'll do $1+ shorties like this all day.

At the TA in Lodi, CA. BORED! Getting our stupid new signs on later today. The day is shot. Likely not TOO bad a day to lose, most of the load offers we have seen for the past several days have been pure garbage. I would head home before I would run those loads. $1 per mile junk. Don't know how those surface trucks make it on those rate :confused:s.
