concidering hiring a co driver.

I am a tractor owner, and am concidering hirin a co driver, the keep the truck moving, because im tired of loosing all my good loads to teams. question is, how do i figure out what to pay someone for beig a second seet driver. is there a recomended chart somewhere i can go by, or is it jsut pot luck?

20%, before fsc, would be the norm. A higher percentage of accessorial charges (half of hand load/unloads, 1/3 to 1/2 of detention, etc) would be fair.
